Araena’s Background
Christian Apologetic enthusiast and mom, Araena Sanchez (Raen) , has a background in Fashion, Hair & Makeup, Art, Music and Film. Academically, she has earned a Certificate in Peer Support Recovery Specialist training, an associate’s degree in theology from the New Jersey Institute of Theology, and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Church Leadership at the New Brunswick Theological Seminary School. Araena will continue to pursue her master's degree in Divinity and Arts and become an ordained Chaplain. She resides in New Jersey with her beautiful 18-year-old ‘mini me’ . Araena continues to develop her online ministry, create, study, and works as a Barber At Revival Barbershop.
Araena was saved in 2022 at 46 years old, and Baptized in may 2023 after living a New Age lifestyle with Buddhism being at the very center for 22 years. Her life has drastically changed after being born again. Araena has always been curious and inquisitive of all things spiritual, supernatural, especially regarding the meaning of life, and death. Araena enjoys theological and cultural discussions and her desire to seek healing, faith ,and understanding has developed into a thirst for apologetics and theology.
Araena grew up in a Baptist household , abandoned Christianity as a teen, and replaced God with New Age ‘Source Energy’, the universe, S.G.I Buddhism, and other occult practices. In her eyes, Jesus was just an ascended master, similar to Buddha, nothing more . Chanting mantras, meditation, Law of Attraction, energy healing, channeling, and other spiritual practices were included in Araena’s lifestyle which eventually took a very dark turn. Jesus was the one who pulled her out of darkness.
In 2019 Araena slowly began to see New Age as a deception. In May 2023 she was Baptized and Born Again. As an ex- New Ager Araena began to pursue ministry. She wants to reach multitudes of diverse people through sound theology and teach about topics such as the truth about Jesus, and the dangers of new age through her creativity, with deep love, and her eyes fixed firmly on the Living Triune God.
